Are there links for the words “Gentle” “Get Dressed” “Good Morning” “Good Night” and “Gray/Grey” ?

    ADMIN – Hi Claire,

Each of those words are featured in alphabetical order. You can find links using the instructions we provided earlier.

I also wanted to know the sign for gentle however as I read the post explaining it I’m not clear on what the sign is. I’m sorry if its obvious and I’m not getting it. The part that is unclear is ‘Both hands move to the front and down as if in petting a puppy.” Thank you in advance for your help.

I’m doing a project for my teaching reading and writing class. I want to do a lesson based on the book Brown Bear Brown Bear what do you see? By Eric Carle but cant find the sign for gold fish can you please send it to me? If it is possible I would like to have it sent to me the same way it is on this site. I would like to be able to show my class a video of how to form the sign.

    THANK YOU!!! Colleen

    ADMIN – Hi Colleen,

We love that book too! For those that aren’t familiar, it is a book that presents a series of animals and colors. For example there is a blue horse, then a red bird, etc. This make the book particularly great for signing practice.

For goldfish, we usually just use the sign for fish.

Palms open looking down with fingers slightly separated. Right thumb softly sits on top of left thumb, elbows are bent 90 degrees positioning both hands right in front of your chest. Both hands move to the front and down as if in petting a puppy. This movement is done twice.
