Video: Playground in Baby Sign Language

Signing: Playground is a combination sign, combining the signs for play and area.

First sign play, making your hands into fists with thumb and pinkie extended. Then twist your hand back and forth.

Then sign area, taking your dominant hand flat and palm down, making horizontal circles in the air.

Usage: Make the playground sign, before you head out to the playground, and again once you get there. Baby will start to make the connection and anticipate visits, even telling you when she is ready to go again.
