Hill

To sign hill, take your open palm, facing the ground. Starting at torso level, run your hand flat in front of you a short distance, then rise up and go down and run flat again, as if making the shape of a hill in front of you. If you choose to sign with both open hands, simply run them up an angle in unison, indicating the slope of a hill.

It's also a good opportunity to teach your baby the other signs pertaining to nature, or the shapes and sizes of land formations and bodies of water.
