Signing: To sign sweets (or dessert), take your dominant hand and brush your chin with your fingers, going back and forth.

Usage: Dessert and sweets are favorite parts of the meal for most babies. Pair the sign with the dessert course, signing as you present baby with dessert like a piece of fruit or some cake and baby will soon make the association and start using the sign.

    Ummm..what sign is used for “sweet” when you are referring to a loving, gentle person (or baby)? 🙂 <3

    In the context of baby sign language we use the sign for nice. As for ASL there are specific signs for each concept.
