Signing: The xylophone sign looks like you are tapping away on the xylophone. To sign xylophone, make both hands into a fist with the thumb on top of the fingers. Then make short swings up and down with your arms while moving them across your body as if you are playing the imaginary xylophone with the sticks in your hands.

Usage: Okay, I admit that I was just looking for an X word, there is not that much use for xylophone unless you have one the rare xylophone playing baby. I did not have many choices, it was xylophone, or x-ray.

The main use of xylophone, is for songs where you are teaching your baby the alphabet, and you need to do X is for xylophone!
