Hi, what is the sign for video? My son likes to watch YouTube videos but I want him to be able to ask for them?

    ADMIN – Hi Jules,

You can make the sign for video by pretending you have an old fashioned video camera where you had to crank the handle. Place your non-dominant palm out, and then make a cranking motion with your dominant hand.

What about Vitamin? I’ve been doing the sign for medicine, but wondering if it’s different for vitamin. Thank you!

    ADMIN
Make a letter V with middle and index fingers of dominant hand. Face it forward at chest-height and wave it once from left to right to left, follow it by pulling the middle finger down and pointing to the chin with the index.

What is the sign for vacuum?

    ADMIN
To sign is made by placing your left hand palm-up in front of you and waving your right hand with all fingers pointing down back and forth on top of the left as in the motion of a vacuum.

My son is OBSESSED with the vacuum. What is the sign for that? Thanks in advance!

    ADMIN:
Place your left hand palm up waist-high then take the right hand with all fingers looking down and move it around the top of the left hand making little circles as in vacuuming.

    Hi,

I was wondering if there is a sign for ‘vapor’. My 14 month old likes to notice it and he’s been learning many signs.

    thank you for your time,
    Maria :)

Admin: To make the sign for steam place both hands palm facing up with fingers separated and make inward circles as you move both hands up as in creating miniature puffs of steam.

I am trying to find signs to help a deaf child. He rides a van and was wondering if you could provide a picture of someone signing “van”.
    Thank you.

    ADMIN:
The sign for van is finger spelled.
