How would you sign sunshine? Like in the song ‘you are my sunshine’.

    ADMIN – Hi Ashley,

Place your dominant hand above your head at a diagonal with fist closed. Open your fist in a quick motion spreading your fingers as in mimicking sun rays.

  2. Sara

    What’s the sign for “silly”?

    ADMIN – HI Sara,

To sign silly you take your dominant hand next to your chin with thumb and pinky out as if doing the hang loose sign and you move it back and forth.

  3. Sara

What is the sign for soon?

    Thanks!

    ADMIN – Hi Sara,

Place the index and middle finger of the “H” hand (your dominant hand) on top of the index and middle fingers of the non-dominant “H” hand. Slide the top “H” hand forward along the index finger of the bottom hand toward the tip of the index finger, then slide the top hand back toward the large knuckle of the bottom hand’s index finger. Repeat the movement twice. The non-dominant hand doesn’t move.

  4. Andrea

What’s the sign for shell, as in seashell?

    ADMIN – Hi Andrea,

To sign shell make a fist with your non-dominant hand and rub your dominant hand on top of it by curving it downward like a seashell.

Can you add the sign for “scared”? We are learning emotions and thanks to your site we were able to learn “happy” “sad” “excited” and “angry”, I think “scared” is the last one we need! :-) at least, lol, the only one I can think of that we need…

Sunglasses? My baby girl loves to play with them!

    ADMIN,
For sunglasses we like combining the sign for eyeglasses with the sign for Sun.
