Video: Ice in Baby Sign Language

Signing: To sign ice, you make your hands look like claws and have face your palms face down. Next put your hands in front of you and pull them in towards you. This is actually the symbol for freeze, but it is a good substitution.

Usage: Teach your baby the sign for ice by letting them hold it or putting it in their drink. As they get older try to connect ice with making things cold.

How much would you charge to mail me a set of your companies sign launguage flash cards? My 5yr old drs said it would be a good idea if she learns sign because she has a astrostynoma brain tumor and is going thru kemo treatments that have a side effect of permanent hearing loss.

    ADMIN – Hi Carlene,

All the materials are available for free if you want to print them at home. Because your girl has permanent hearing loss you want to introduce her to ASL instead of baby sign language. Speak to your speech therapist at the hospital and they will give you additional guidance.
