Cold

Signing: To make the baby sign for cold take both hands and make them into fists with thumbs up. Pull your upper arms into your sides, extend your forearms out, and shake your fists back and fourth. The sign looks a lot like you are shivering.

Usage: Teach your baby the sign for cold by putting their fingers on pieces of ice or in cold water. Reinforce the sign, by making it whenever you are in a situation where you are cold – like going out into a brisk night.
