Signing: To sign big, start with your hands open and parallel out in front of your body. Move the two hands apart. I remember this sign because it looks a bit like you are saying, “I caught a fish and it was this big.”
Usage: Use the big and small sign together to make a game. Show your baby a picture of something big, then a picture of a small version of the same thing. As she advances, ask her to tell you if it is big or small.
